Tab analysis and practice
- This score has 138 played notes, in G, with a 12/8 time signature and a tempo of 100 BPM.
- Start at 75 BPM, then increase by 5 BPM when the reading stays clean.
- Dotted rhythms need a clear long-short feeling. Count quietly before playing.
- Some notes are tied: keep the airflow continuous and avoid re-attacking the second note.
- Rests matter: use them as real breaths, not vague stops.
- The range needs some movement: identify hole changes before playing at tempo.
- Several notes repeat: keep attacks light to avoid a hard mechanical sound.
- Suggested method: listen once, play only the first two lines, fix unstable spots, then continue with the metronome.
